Article Marketing - How To Fail In 1 Day

Article marketing can be an easy task to fail it. It really can be. So to help you avoid these simple pitfalls, here is a guide to help you in your article marketing.

How to fail at article marketing in one day!

  • You write only one article and think that only that one article is going to get you the major amounts of traffic. This is not true! Just writing one article isn't going to get you anywhere! If your just going to write one article, there will be no point in your article marketing. Your article will most likely, not even appear in search engine rankings.
  • Putting in different sets of keywords in your articles will not get you anywhere. When writing keywords, you should be using the same keywords. This is the best way to dominate your competition, but people don't seem to do it.
  • Writing one whole paragraph and calling it an article. Your readers don't want to read one long paragraph. They don't want to take their time reading something that's going to be confusing and long. By simply breaking up your article into paragraphs, you can get your readers attention and actually get them to click on your URL link.
  • Not putting your keyword in your articles title. This is a great way to get your article a higher page ranking. It's simple to do. Just input your articles keyword into the first three words of your title. This gives you high page rankings, making it easier for your viewers to actually view your articles.
  • Duplicating content and then submitting it. Duplicated content do not get indexed into search engines. The only way that can get indexed, is if they get more inbound links than the original and other duplicates. This is a much harder task than by just simply writing your own unique article!
  • Not writing 10 articles a day. By just simply writing a small amount of articles a day, you get more publicity and you get better at writing your articles!

Try your best to avoid these simply mistakes! Avoid them, and your article marketing will vastly increase!

Have you ever found an article that when you finish reading it, you have this sudden feeling of rightness? After experiencing a writers viewpoint, you understand something that baffled you. There is no need to sell yourself or your business within the article. Simply share your knowledge, your thoughts and ideas.

Selling occurs outside the article in the resource box. A great deal has been written on how to sell within the resource box. What exactly does this little blurb of information about the author provide the reader? The resource box allows the reader to know the author on a more personal note. Being able to identify with the authors role as single mom or work from home dad is a powerful human connector!

You create an image of the author but want to know if the image holds, so you click to visit their website or subscribe to receive their free e-mail course, maybe even download of their latest e-book. Each of these clicks brings you closer to the author. You feel connected and will remember them.

A single encounter with an author online doesnt usually make an immediate impact but after the second or third time you read yet another of this same authors articles found on yet another website. You take notice. You realize this is a person to look up!

Just think about this.

Finding a great article that explains multi-level marketing, affiliate programs, baking home-made bread or how to potty train your resistance 3 year old can be a literal bright spot in your day! You open your mailbox and a friend has sent you a poem or story that had been forwarded to them. That in a nutshell is viral marketing.

Over time you will notice websites, article banks and e-zines publishing articles by these same authors that have already helped you in some way. You mentally filed their name and maybe even their website to back of your mind as a positive. You find security in reading their latest article because you feel you already know that author on some level.

So if you share great stories, articles, poems, writings with friends and customers online then you already know the power of words to influence and change lives. It can be a very overwhelming. The thought of writing for others to read can be scary. The joy comes in having someone send you an email or subscribe to your newsletter because you helped them with one of your articles. It is an important step in working from home. Developing a series of articles to help others to meet whatever challenges face them day to daythat is the goal and you will suddenly realize you are marketable.

Just as a musician has to strum their first chord before they can play in a band. The first step is the hardest but with practice you will see the power in your skills to share information others need or want. Now start writing!

Article Marketing The Two Ways to Do It

Article marketing is such an effective method of generating web traffic, and yet there are two ways to do it effectively, and without knowing which of the two you are doing and how to do them most effectively, it is easy to have wasted efforts.

With either of these two methods of article marketing, each is best utilized with a full-force effort, and if you combine the two haphazardly, I do not believe you gain the full effect.

So what are the two different methods of article marketing. One is article marketing for direct traffic by submitting multiple articles to a small database of article directories that get the bulk of the article directory traffic online.

The second is article marketing for backlinks which improves your search engine ranking so you get indirect traffic via the search engines. To do this, you write a few articles with your links inside and submit them to at least 100 of the article directories.

You may be thinking, well arent those two methods just about the same?

Well, in fact, they are very different. When you use one or the other you get very specific results, and when you mix the two, sometimes you get less powerful results because each method works best when used in force.

In the first case, you are writing multiple articles but it is senseless to submit them to more than the top 3 or 4 web sites out there, because they dont get enough traffic to help you with direct traffic.

With the second method, you really need to submit to multiple web sites to get your url out there, but you only need to submit about 1 article per month you just have to submit it to a lot of directories.

Article Marketing - No-Nonsense Advice About Article Writing

Do you want to make a decent living with article marketing? It can be done. There are internet professions who earn literally tens of thousands of dollars per month using nothing but article marketing. If they can do it, so can you.

One of the things that we all have to deal with in the article marketing business is coming up with new articles. It can be a bit frustrating especially to someone who has just started.

When I decided to make article marketing my sole form of advertising I ran into the same problem. At first I did not know how to come up with new articles, so I did some research. I read everything I could find on the subject.

The method that I use is not revolutionary or even new, but I will guarantee you one thing. It works. Here is how I come up with new articles.

Having the main topic I am going to write about firmly in mind, I break it down in to 10 sub-topics. Many times I come up with these sub-topics by visiting a forum where the main topic is being discussed.

This gives me insight into what information my potential readers may be discussing. If they are discussing it you can rest assured that they will read articles about it.

Once I have my list of 10 sub-topics I then break them down and come up with 10 bullet points for each.

Each of these bullet points actually becomes an article. So as you can see I have just given myself the basis for 100 articles.

I then sit down and start writing about each point. In no time it seems that I have finished these articles and I begin the process again.

No, its not flashy, not automated, nor even original but as I said it works. Give this method a try and I believe you will find it much easier to come up with new articles.

Sifting Thru the Fog to Find the Expert Writers of Our Time

The question at hand is - How can you determine if the author who wrote a particular article is an expert or not? And how on Earth can you go through 10 Billion web pages to find all the experts? Well in my estimation an online article submission site with over half-a-million articles and 50,000 or more article authors could indeed do this.

Does this mean that they should apply to the Department of Defense, NSA, Google Research or the National Archives for a grant to do the research? Yes, I believe they should. What about the information overload at half-a-million articles or the massive amount of garbage on the Internet these days - ah, precisely why such a system to determine expert status is truly needed in my opinion.

Yes, there is information overload, data smog or feature fatigue to consider in all of this and any online article submission site who decides to design such a system on their own accord with their own financing must only implement such a system that makes sense from a user standpoint, profit standpoint because whatever is implemented will need to have a decent ROI, otherwise why do it?

Indeed, presently whatever is done by an online article submission site must take advantage of the future, but also realize if semantic searching and Web 2.0 comes into the picture soon, Everything changes over night, thus it is best to be ready and be first to market, not be bogged down with all sorts of projects that may never turn a profit.

Can an Artificial Intelligent Search Feature sift through all this and only give results of the experts? Some say that it would be impossible to design such a searching tool. Well, I disagree to say it cannot be done now with current technology and AI theories of our day. I believe no one has thought it out. I am sure I or we could come up with something fairly easy if for instance we studied all my articles or let's say 10,000 of them.

We know what subject I am an expert in and which subjects I ain't and so we could play around with a program until which time it matched that reality, so therefore I believe it can be done, in fact, I am quite certain of it. I think giving up or quitting or concluding it is impossible is pre-mature, but in looking at the various ideas on how it could be done so far, I would say, based on this, none of these ideas presented thus far will work by themselves although a few might be a component of the total answer to the question.

Currently, we know that all too often Google or other major search engines do not bring back the desired results needed. Perhaps you have had this problem, I know I have and not just with Google either. Indeed, in frustration of this problem I have had long in depth conversations on the issues of false positives in looking for geniuses on the Internet with some experts in the field who have written 200 research papers on the subject at a major University. They have stories about this.

The Search Engines we have today are not good enough and most people are only semi-satisfied with them. Can a small online article submission site succeed where major search engines have failed us? Yes, because these smaller sites have incredible data bases and hands on experience dealing with these issues and determining who is an expert.

Incidentally, I know that our Online Think Tank could come up with the answer if we choose to take this on as a project, because, we have everything we need if we use the top online article submission site statistics. Since, I am a writer and I know "me" and my abilities; we should be able to play around with something and WIN, that is to say come up with the solution to the challenge - No Problem, it just takes a little time and availability to the data, it can be done, I know it can.
