Fast Article Marketing - Announcing 5 Best Secrets to Impact Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is the key if you want to survive the growing competition online. This marketing strategy which requires you to write and submit your articles on publishing sites, can give you numerous backlinks while you position yourself as an expert on your chosen niche. As a result you will be able to augment your website's traffic as well as your sales leads.

Here are the 5 best secrets to impact your article marketing:

1. Grab your readers' attention. The first step that you need to take to ensure your success in this marketing tool is to get people to read your articles. In order to do so, you need to know how to create titles that are attention-grabbing and thought-provoking.

2. Write to inform and not to impress. Your main objective in writing your articles should be to educate your readers. In reading your content, they must be able to learn something valuable that they can use to either resolve their pressing issues or better understand their situation. As such, you have to make sure that every word you use on your content is easy to understand.

3. Register on leading publishing sites. Do a google search to find out which article submission sites have good page ranking and steady traffic. These are the only publishing sites where you should post your articles to as they can give your articles the exposure they need.

4. Use active verbs. As a marketer, you need to make sure that your articles will sound strong and confident to effectively persuade your readers to take action. As such, you need to avoid using passive voice as it makes your content sound weak.

5. Connect your readers to your content. By this, I mean make your articles sound more engaging. Ask question, offer solutions, or incorporate personal stories that your readers can easily relate to.

Article Marketing - The Failing Formula!

How can you fail at article marketing? The process is very simple actually. You have probably even heard of them by now. You probably even live by these failing formulas! They seem logical, but really, they don't work. What are these simple failing formulas?

The article marketing failing formulas

  • You should republish your articles for greater publicity. I don't know if you know this or not, but search engines do not index duplicated content. Well they do, but your duplicate content must get more inbound links than the original or other duplicates. Why should you duplicate content if it just means more work, for an article that might not even get more than 10 views? It's not worth doing, and it's not going to make your article marketing journey skyrocket.
  • Create tons of articles, it doesn't matter if they suck. This is completely false. All of your articles should be written well and it should have valuable content. If you think that your going to make it in article marketing by publishing articles that give the reader absolutely no information, you are sadly mistaken. It's true and there is no thought around it. Your articles should contain valuable information and it should be enjoyable to read. Article quality is very important to article marketing.
  • Only publish 1-10 articles. This is not a good tactic in this marketing strategy. The fewer articles that you make, the more likely your articles are not going to be viewed. Just writing 10 articles isn't going to get you the page ranking you deserve. It can, but it's very rare. It really is! You should be writing articles regularly, the more you write, the more publicity you're going to get!
  • Your title doesn't matter. This is my favorite failing formula. Your articles title is important. It needs to be able to attract your readers attention. Your articles title is what makes the reader decide to click on your link when there are other links out there. Your article title matters!

These are simple failing fomulas that you might be going by, so just sit down for a bit, and think about how you write your articles. If you use any of these formulas, you might find yourself in the fast track to article marketing failure!

Powerful Article Marketing - Latest 4 Marvelous Steps to Supercharge Your Article Marketing

Gone are the days when you have to launch link building campaigns and literally beg established webmasters to link with you to increase your page ranking. Today, obtaining quality inbound links can be done by just writing and submitting your articles on leading publishing sites like EzineArticles.

Here are the 4 marvelous steps to supercharge your article marketing:

1. Make your articles interesting to read. It is very important that you give your readers great reading experience. This is one element that can lead to rapport and trust. Write your articles in a conversational tone, insert comic relief whenever appropriate, ask questions once in while, and connect your readers to your content.

2. Less is more. Ditch the idea that your article will be more valuable to the eyes of online users when it runs more than 1,000 words. Truth be told, online users get easily bored with lengthy articles especially if they don't offer page break or if they are not scannable. Strive to make your articles short but concise by offering your information upfront and by avoiding using too much fillers and fancy words on your content.

3. Talk about your products. I don't mean advertising your products blatantly on your content. By this, I mean write about topics that will build up your offering so they will become more valuable to your readers. For instance, if you are selling diet pills, you can talk about the disadvantages of being fat and offer your product as solution.

4. Offer only quality content. If you want your articles to be read and republished, you have to make sure that they are well-written and informative. People simply love reading articles that are easy to understand and offer sound solutions to their problems.

Article Marketing Secrets - Lead the Reader Right into the Resource Box at the End of Your Article

You want to lead the reader into your resource box to be successful at article marketing. This can be done in two simple steps.

Step 1 - Give good information and do it in a way that's conversational and inspires people. Write like you talk and make sure you offer at least on good gold nugget of actionable information.

Step 2 - Then in the resource box you then invite them back to your website or blog and exchange their email address for more great quality information from you. You don't even have to be salesy in your resource box. You just follow what I call my FIB formula:

Flow: The resource box flows out of the article body, because the resource box is the next paragraph in the article. Don't do what most article writers do and start the resource box with your name and qualifications. That is like shouting at the reader "The article is now over and you can stop reading now!"

Invite: You invite them back to your website or blog for more information. In internet marketing this is called a CTA or Call To Action. I like to think of it as an invitation, and I even word it that way.

Brand: You brand yourself by mentioning your name and the name of your business. You do this at the end just to make sure that the reader associates the good stuff they are getting with you and your business.

And all you have to do is give them great content and invite them to get some more, from you.

Especially when it comes to considering an opportunity like Fortune High Tech Marketing. You must remember that your financial future is all too important to throw away. Get equipped with the right information about the whole truth about this company.

1) Starting At The Beginning

It all started with Paul Orberson. If you think this is a typical rags to riches story, it really isn't. I can see that you could relate to Paul if you have been in a corporate job before and dreamed of early retirement on certain days.

Paul hails from Kentucky and used to work as a high school teacher.

In 1990, he entered the network marketing industry as a representative and helped build it to a successful one. He felt challenged during his "retirement at 40" and yearned to actually do something of value. After contacting a few friends with some research, Fortune High Tech Marketing was born.

2) Products Versus Compensation

The products that Fortune High Tech Marketing currently include ranges from weight management products, Internet, long distance, satellite TV, health and beauty products, wireless phones and so on. This means you get a wide spectrum of choices though I felt that it makes it hard for you to really focus on one niche.

Your compensation plan can be described as a residual income stream. How does it work? You need to sign up 3 customers and then earn from their efforts to recruit others. This consists of a 2% commission earning from your "downlines" FHTM product usage. If you sell its true essentials products you gain 20% from the total sales volume.

3) Beyond Financial Freedom

Even though the opportunity with Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing looks attractive to you there are a few things to consider. Such as the "Stair Step Breakaway Plan" employed by the compensation system. When people in your organization starts performing as well as you, they "breakaway".

Leaving you the only option which is to recruit more people or "new recruits" to fill in their place. You need to do this so that you can maintain your monthly checks. Its cruel yes but its this kind of work you will need to consider.

The best option for you could be to pursue the art of marketing online. Choices to learn are practically limitless and you will be swamped with many paths to choose. Your sure path to success lies in you investing in a good marketing system for yourself.

Powerful Article Marketing - Revealed - 4 Effective Secrets to Jumpstart Your Article Marketing

Are you thinking of using article marketing as your advertising tool in promoting your business and marketing your products in the World Wide Web. Well, I'd say you have made a wise decision as it is the most efficient and cost-effective marketing tool in the internet today.

Here are the 4 effective secrets to jumpstart your article marketing:

1. Use striking titles. Your headlines are one of the elements that can either make or break your marketing efforts. These can be your greatest tool in getting online users to open and read your articles. Thus, it is very important that your titles are attention-grabbing, interesting, direct to the point, and communicate the readers' benefits.

2. Content. This is what will be the deciding factor of online users if they will read, pick up, and republish your articles. If your content is well-written, useful, interesting, fact-based, and direct to the point, you can be assured that your articles will be widely distributed.

3. Target market. You also need to make sure that your articles are targeted and relevant to your potential readers' needs. After all, they will be the one who will read your articles so you might as well make your content beneficial for them. If you can consistently do this, your readers will not only support your other articles but also, they will most likely to consider doing business with you.

4. Article submission sites. In writing your articles, you need to consider the rules and terms of service set forth by publishing sites to increase the chances of your articles being posted online. Some of their requirements are the following: your articles must run 300-500 words, they must be free from blatant advertisements and sales pitch, they must not have hyperlinks on the article body, they must not contain inappropriate content, etc.

Article Marketing Keyword Parrots and Linking Fanatics in Web Content

It's stunning sometimes how far article marketing has come over the last few years as an effective means of promoting business through educational articles. But precisely because it is so useful to online business, it is getting perverted by overzealous marketers. Some are using software that "Blasts your Article to 10,000 ezine publishers!" and others are simply SEO copywriters who write horrible so-called articles disguised as keyword lists parroting repetitive keyword phrases 15 to 20 times in a 700 word article. Some submit their article perversions for their clients or even to benefit their own Adsense filled sites.

Other article marketing perversions include a sort of "advertorial" article, clearly written by copywriters, purely for promotion of client interests, in deceptive testimonial form to sell a service, software or product and gain links to client sites. Some using this technique loudly proclaim a service as though they just discovered it themselves when a simple search for their name beside the product they recently "discovered" shows that they have been hired wordsmiths for the newly "discovered" company for several years.

Further web content and article marketing perversions include the submission of press releases disguised as articles by clueless PR people who have little to no understanding of article marketing. They submit their client releases to article distribution services and article archives mindlessly without even attempting to change the distinctive form of a press release into something resembling an educational article. They even include the outdated -30- or ### which signifies the end of a press release.

As an online marketer myself, I've written and distributed press releases through appropriate PR forums such as PRWeb and the like for clients. They are used as one means of gaining visibility and exposure for online businesses. Sometimes we do rewrite them as articles and distribute those through article distribution channels if they can actually be adapted to a semi-instructional or entertaining form of web content. The standard journalistic five W's are entirely out of place in article marketing. The factual reporting must be converted to an educational "how-to" format or a form of instructional and entertaining short article.

Next among web content clueless come the newbies who have been told that article marketing is useful for gaining links. Often these newbies will include a half dozen of their own URL's without the http:// portion - unaware that web content management software will NOT turn those web addresses into clickable links and losing the value of those links wherever the do manage to get published. These dimwits fill the article with links to their own sites and affiliate program or ad-tracking redirect links, very nearly turning the article into a directory menu of their own site in the hopes of gaining multiple links from a single article.

Just one thing stands in the way of that silly expectation of easy link popularity - NOBODY will publish the article except those worthless Adsense filled automated sites which blindly publish EVERYTHING distributed through some freebie article distribution lists. Those links will do the author very little good coming from worthless, poorly ranked sites. That is if the distribution list will even publish that type of blatantly self serving article. Most article sites refuse to accept and distribute articles with self-referencing links within the article body and say so clearly in their guidelines for submission.

But then - Keyword Parrots, PR shills and linking fanatics don't read web content article submission guidelines.

Article Marketing - Should You Use Article Submission Software?

I see Article Software advertised that will send your article to hundreds of article directories. How effective is this? What about duplicate content?

I have tried two or three different pieces of Article Software. It works--I can send out fifty articles in an hour. The funny thing is that when I send those articles out using Article Software, I find that I don't get as many links from them as if I personally submit them, or I pay somebody to personally submit them. I don't know why. I'm a big results person.

If somethings not working--a lot of times I won't even ask why. I'll just move on to the next thing. Now, that's not always the wisest thing to do. But, right now, given my business structure, I really apply that eighty-twenty principle. Eighty-percent of my results come from twenty percent of the work that I do. And right now, rather than focusing on the eighty percent that doesn't produce results, I just multiply the twenty percent.

Right now what's working for me is personally submitting them by hand. I'm sure it's boring. I'm sure it takes time. But that's how I do it. Am I telling you that all of the article-software out there is no good?

No. I don't understand why it happens. Perhaps, some of the better article directories can recognize whether it's coming in from some machine? I'm not technical so I don't know. Maybe they just don't put as much priority on the articles? I don't know. All that I know is that it hasn't worked for me. Nothing against the software itself. It just doesn't work for me.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Uncover 4 Popular Steps to Explode Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is undoubtedly the most efficient and cost effective product and website promotional tool these days. It is being used by a lot of webmasters from across the globe because it can easily augment website's traffic and increase their sales potential.

Here are the 4 popular steps to explode your article marketing:

1. Target market. The one element that will guarantee you success in article marketing is knowing how to satisfy your target market. When you do, you can be assured that your articles will be widely read and distributed online. This is the reason why it is very crucial to know the people you are writing for even before you tap on your key board. Get to know their needs, demands, profile, and preferences. These can help you make your articles more targeted and focused to their demands.

2. Titles. When people search for information online, they are usually presented with numerous articles. People choose the article to read based on title alone at least on this point. Don't let your articles be ignored by giving them titles that are truly interesting and attention-grabbing. This can help you dramatically increase your clickthrough rate.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Uncover 5 Advanced Steps to Multiply Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is synonymous to improved traffic, impressive page ranking, increased sales leads, and amazing profits. It can also mean stronger online presence and credibility especially for those marketers who care to do the process right.

Here are the 5 advanced steps to multiply your article marketing:

1. Write from the readers' perspective. Before you write your articles, it will be beneficial to put yourself into the shoes of your potential clients first. This will make you better understand where they are coming from and identify the kind of information they need to either resolve their pressing issues or increase their knowledge about their areas of interest.

2. "What's in it for me?" This is the common question of most online readers before they read articles online. Communicate the readers' benefits on your headlines to let people know what is in store for them to make your articles even more appealing.

3. K.I.S.S. - This simply means keep it short and simple. As an article writer, you must understand that the audiences you serve have limited time to spend on reading various articles online. It can be greatly beneficial for your marketing strategy to post articles that run 300-500 words as these are the kinds of written materials that attract more attention online.

4. Submit your articles on major publishing sites. Increase the chances of your articles being picked up and republished by other online users by making them available online through the help of article submission sites.

5. Syndicate your articles. Aside from article submission sites, you can also post your articles on your blog and on your website to maximize their exposure. You can also use them as viral marketing tools, content for your newsletters, or compile them to create an ebook.

Maximizing Clicks In Your Resource Box

Building article directories is all the rage now. Practically every time I submit an article I get a pop-up asking me if I'd like to build an article directory like the one I'm visiting. But I have no interest in that. I like to write and submit articles.

Is article marketing just a phase? I don't think so, look at where television was just 50 years ago and see how it has grown. The Internet is the television of future. Millions of people worldwide are entertained and informed by it every day. And one thing that is an absolute necessity for the Internet to continue growing is the need for fresh content. Just like television, both mediums need a constant source of fresh material to present to the public. That is very good news for those of us in the article business, and for that reason, I believe that article marketing is here to stay. The question is, as article writers, how can we capitalize on that? The answer is; write and submit targeted articles and add a well thought out resource box to each article.

By designing a good, well-conceived resource box, you can maximize the number of clicks each article generates. For each article I write, I design a different resource box. It is targeted specifically to the content of that article. In the first line, I add a link to your main site's opt-in page. In the sentence or two that follows, give a short description of what your site offers. Make sure you tell viewers the benefits of visiting your site. If they click through to your website, give them good reasons to sign-in. Promise free downloads. On my website, I offer them the opportunity to view and download numerous articles, pdf's and information on a number of techniques to generate money by writing articles.

Following that information, skip a line to start a new paragraph. In that section of the resource box, offer either one of your own products or an affiliate item. Follow that with a short sentence on how it would benefit the reader to through to that item.

Again, you should skip a line here and start a third paragraph. In this final section, provide a link on an additional product you are promoting. Try to vary the products and the order of their appearance.

Maximize viewer response by using three separate paragraphs. Using these techniques, your links will stand out more prominently, and you will dramatically increase the number of clicks.

Managing An SEO Project

All projects start with one common theme: a vision of where the project will end. Whether you're building a skyscraper, designing a piece of software, or creating a new web site you've got to identify the scope that the project will fulfill. The second thing that all projects have in common is their desire to accomplish one of two business fundamentals: increase revenue or reduce costs. Let's talk about increasing revenue through one of the most prevalent channels to your organization: your website.

Which project comes first: Updating your old, stale website with a new look, fresh content and a stronger call to action? Or...planning search engine optimization with a focus on keywords research, earning inbound links and attracting Google's attention?

The answer depends on several factors:

* How old is the website's domain (URL)?

* When is the last time the site was updated with fresh content?

* Have you implemented any search engine optimization (SEO) techniques?

* Is your website ranked high in Google and other search engines?

* What is your overall goal - a better looking website or more traffic from being found in search engines?

Search engine optimization is the process of improving traffic to your website thru better search engine rankings in Google, Yahoo and other search engines. This would include keyword selection and use throughout the website; writing strong page titles and other meta tag codes; development of and implementing a link building program...just to name a few.

What you are doing is creating an initial project scope statement. The project scope is all of the work - and only the required work - to meet the vision you have for your project. Essentially you're framing the project to consider what's of most value and what should be dismissed for this current project. Most projects fail because their project scope is so loosely defined it's difficult to identify what's really needed versus what are some dreamy extras that don't contribute. Defining the project scope isn't easy; if it were, so many projects wouldn't fail.

As you enter the website/SEO project's planning phase you'll want to consider these false assumptions that can interfere with your scope planning:

* A new website will not get Google's attention. In fact, if you purchase a new domain name and start over, some search engines aren't going to be eager to crawl your website. Maintain your current domain.

* While a new website design and updated content might impress visitors to your website, pretty pictures and cool buttons may not increase sales. Make sure you have a strong call to action (sign up for a newsletter; complete a form for more information, etc.).

* Fresh content will not get you ranked higher in Google and other search engines. You need keyword-rich content focusing on your company's products and services.

* Submitting your website to 1,000 search engines will not work either. Actually, there are only 55 legitimate search engines, with Google, Yahoo and MSN dominating the search engine market.

Most projects fail at the beginning, not the end. A failure to adequately plan the project scope will only corrupt your project execution. It's paramount to first plan what the website is to accomplish before hopping into the project execution. For example, you do not want to write new content for your website before you conduct keyword research just as you wouldn't start building a new home without your blueprints.

Of all the project management activities planning is the most important. Planning is an iterative process and happens throughout the life of the project. The project scope is defined initially when you initiate the project, but more fully when you're in the first stages of planning. When you're creating a plan to boost your website's presence the focus should always be on fulfilling the project scope. Activities and deliverables that don't contribute to the scope are not value-added activities. Basically, you and your team should ask does this deliverable help my website's presence or not? If it does incorporate it into the project scope, if it doesn't log the issue, addition, or feature and address it outside of your current project. By keeping your execution activities focused on completing the project scope you'll get more done faster and better than considering and pondering every possibility for your website.

The basic "brick and mortar" plan of any search engine optimization project would include the follow elements:

* Research for the best possible keywords.

* Research your competition. What keywords are they pursuing?

* Write fresh content utilizing the targeted keywords.

* If you are designing a new website, determine if the design with drive the content, or if the content will drive the site design. Make sure you have selected your keywords before you write the content.

* Link building. Earn one-way links from directories and other websites pointing to your website and web pages.

Once you've created your project plan it's time to execute the plan. This is the real work of the project that'll create the deliverables and benefits outlined in the project scope and the project's work breakdown structure. In tandem with executing the project plan, you'll control the project to ensure the work, project team, and deliverables are consistently in alignment with the project's vision. At some point you'll get to the happiest day: closing the project.

True search engine optimization is not "one and done." You'll need to plan for the long-haul: keywords may change as products and services change; content and blogs will need to be written and updated and link building never ends. Build your SEO plan in stages and keep moving forward.

Should you use them exclusively to build your list?

Sure, if you can convert them to paying customers and that is the biggest mistake people make when first starting out using coreg leads.

You cannot use these leads in the same manner as you do for the leads you collect from your own marketing efforts.

The leads simply do not know you well enough and need to handled differently.

What you should always do is with a new batch of coreg leads is to send them a minimum of five emails that contain nothing but free content.

Give them useful articles and reports. Let them get to know about you and how you are going to help them solve their problems.

Spend as much time with them as possible before you ever send them a promotional message.

Your first five emails should be sent one day apart and contain nothing but pure free help. Do not send them useless information that can be obtained from anywhere online.

Make it unique and personal. Be polite with them and treat them like family. With your third email in the series you can more than likely use a "p.s." and give them a soft sell for a product.

Then in the fifth and final email of your warm up series use the "p.s." again. Also let them know they will be consistently sent great, helpful information along with some excellent product recommendations to help solve their problems.

You can make coreg leads a very lucrative part of your online business if you use patience and are consistent.

The Top Ten SEO Techniques and Page Design Elements That Will Get You Blacklisted From Google

The biggest search engine of them all is without a doubt Google. What they say goes, and most website owners just have to put up with it. It is always good to know what SEO techniques that Google will allow, but most of all, what they will not allow. They can blacklist your site for as long as they want, and you will never be able to get a high ranking again if you cross them once.

Knowing how important a great ranking is for your web site or blog site, here is a list of six SEO techniques you SHOULD NOT do for any reason:

1. YOUR WEB PAGE TEXT IS IN GRAPHICS FORM ONLY
Google considers "burying" text in your HTML code hides the text from their spiders that are trying to detect all of your relevant content. They feel this is manipulating their search engines and they don't like that one bit.

2. YOUR SITE HAS A BLACKLISTED WEB PAGE LINKED TO IT
A good rule of thumb regarding this issue is never to link to a "link farm" or a "Free for ALL" link page. These websites deal in every under-handed cheap trick they can find to bypass Google's strict submission rules, thereby bringing every other website linked to them down in the gutter. Make sure that all of your links lead Google and your site visitors to reputable pages at all times.

3. BAD LANGUAGE ON YOUR MAIN PAGES
This also includes using ethnic slurs of all types, as Google really looks down on racist sites that result in hate crimes or other controversial events.

4. LINK BUYING
Google really hates when you have to pay another site just to link with yours. If your site is worthy of being included in Google's main pages, why on earth would you have to buy a link? It does not make much sense from a business standpoint either, because you should put your promotion budget somewhere else entirely.

5. CLOAKING
When you present one web page to your readers and another page just for the spiders from Google to search for relevant keywords, this is known as "cloaking". If an SEO specialist says it's OK to do it his way, tell him firmly "No way!" and go with another SEO company that is more reputable.

6. YOUR SERVER IS DOWN DURING A GOOGLE SEARCH
You say that this is not your fault, but in a way it is. You cannot afford any down time as far as your main web pages are concerned, because that eats into your profits on a weekly basis if it happens too much. So always find the best server possible for your site, no matter the cost. And when Google sends out their spiders to your main pages for ranking purposes it is a HUGE error if your server is down and Google comes back with an error message. Big problem time!

7. ZERO LINKS
Your website must have a least one back link coming in from a reputable website for Google to recognize you as worth their time. So before you submit your web pages, make sure you link to somebody first.

8. KEYWORD STUFFING
I went over this is another recent article, but it is a very important technique to remember to avoid. If Google thinks your pages are filled with certain keywords that you have included over 10% in the content's overall body, you will be heavily penalized by Google for keyword stuffing that will be hard for your site to recover from.

9. COPYRIGHT VIOLATION
If somebody has reported your site as having stolen their exact wording on content pages, or have accused your website of stealing images and graphics from their own pages, Google will come after you and make sure that you eliminate the text and images from your site immediately. But just to make sure that Google never has to do this, ALWAYS refrain from plagiarizing anybody else's website for any reason whatsoever.

10. USAGE OF FLASH PAGE AS MAIN PAGE
If you really want to make your visitors pay attention to your main page, just get creative with an animated logo or put some very nice HTML coding on your front page for some really nice graphics. In other words, use every other "flashy" technique to get a web surfers attention except for using a flash page. Google's spiders cannot read the text in a flash page, so Google thinks that you are manipulating that page for their search engine rankings.

Stay away from all of these SEO techniques and page re-designs and you should be OK in climbing up the much-coveted rankings of Google's main category web page.

Website Promotion, RSS And Squidoo - How To Create an RSS Feed For Your Squidoo Lens

Squidoo has really made a splash on the SEO scene. As people have uncovered the remarkable Google rankings that have shown up for their squidoo pages (called "lenses"). The site has quickly become a web site promotion tool of choice.

Before we jump into how RSS can (and can't) work with Squidoo, let's examine a bit more about RSS.

What are feeds and how can I create an RSS file for my website?

RSS stands most commonly for "Really Simple Syndication", and is a file format that is incorporated by users in their websites to allow for web syndication, making their web content available to feed readers or syndication services.

People who want to keep updated of recently added content on a particular site or topic of interest will subscribe to a feed reader which "spits out" a short title, description and link to the most recently added content. How does this occur? You create an RSS file for your website and submit it to syndication services that will crawl your RSS file and display your added content items to it's feed. The more subscribers to your feed, the more links and traffic you'll see at your website. So you see how RSS is great website promotion tool especially if you're frequently adding valuable content, news or press releases.

How do you know if a website is syndicated?

Websites that contain RSS ' typically have colorful graphics to indicate to users that the specific web content is available through RSS feeds. These graphics are usually depicted by orange rectangles that are usually marked with 'RSS' or 'XML'.

Here is in example RSS file:

Notes -

  • The "channel" is the feed.
  • The "items" are the individual pieces of content /pages you want to syndicate.
  • Don't put spaces in between your tags as below.

Now open up note pad, or another simple text editor...copy and paste this document, filling in your own info. Remember to remove excess spaces in this template.

< ?xml version="1.0" ? >

< rss version ="2.0">

< channel >

< title >The Channel Title Goes Here< / title >

< description > The explanation of how the items are related goes here< / description >

http://www. directoryoflinksgohere< / link>

< item >

< title >The Title Goes Here

< description >The description goes here< /description >

< link >http://www. linkgoeshere.com

< / item>

< item >

< title >The Title Goes Here

< description >The description goes here< /description >

< link >http://www. linkgoeshere.com

< / item>

< / channel >

< /r ss >

When you save the file be sure to save it as an xml file.

Next, you'll want to validate your feed to make sure it's readable, and to submit it to feed reader websites so that the content syndication can begin.

RSS and Squidoo

There are two primary ways to leverage RSS for your lens.

1. Subscribing to feeds to flesh out your content

Squidoo offers a module that allows you to display your feed snippets related to the topic of your lens. This is a great way to continually increase the variation and volume of your lens content. If you look at all the top lenses, many have RSS modules. Know that in order for your lens to show up on Squidoo you have to have added at least 3 blocks of content, which tells us that content is an important criterion for Squidoo ranking. Where do you find RSS feeds for your Squidoo lens?" Any blog or website that has a feed will indicate this by the orange rectangle describe above. Just subscribe and read up on the RSS module in the "add modules" section of your lens workshop. (For more advanced Squidooers, RSS feeds are dynamically generated in a visitor's browser. These feeds won't convince Google that your lens frequently updates it's content.)

2. Syndicating / Creating a Feed For Your Squidoo Lens

Normally a feed for your website would live in your websites directory, I.e; www.yoursite. com/feed.rss. This method isn't possible with Squidoo, but fortunately there is a work around. http://squidutils.com/ offers many advanced utilities for lens masters, including feed url generation. Simply input your Squidoo user name, and a feed for your lens will automatically be created with a URL. Now you can hit all of the rss search engines and start submitting your feed!

Link Bait A Beginners Guide to Search Engine Marketing

For search engine marketing companies the idea of Link Bait is very appealing. In simplistic terms, the more links a website has the higher it appears on Google & Yahoo! To attract these links in the past, a search engine optimisation (SEO) company had to individually approach sites with personalised emails asking for links.

It could often be time consuming and relied upon patience & good research. However a piece of Link Bait which quickly attracts a high number of links in a short period of time can often offer a better return on investment of an SEOs time than traditional link building.

The idea of Link Bait is relatively straight forward; given the prevalence of blogs and regularly updated websites, a piece of compelling content can quickly spread virally to a large number of people. Usually whenever someone mentioned, discussed or disputed they would receive a link. The wider their story spread, the more links they receives, the greater the click through traffic and the higher the search engines would regard their site.

While the concept is still fairly new, a number or search engine marketing companies are already offering Linkbaiting services and a number of trends and styles of bait have developed.

The most popular & practical technique is to provide a really high quality resource. This could be a useful tool, a collection of content in one place or any thing which proves useful to your readers and other webmasters think might be useful to theirs. The best way of doing this is to find a gap in the web or a problem & provide a solution. This is one of the least risky linkbaiting strategies & will be easy for anyone already producing high quality content.

The next technique is slightly more hazardous, write something controversial. Creating something which goes against given knowledge or disagrees with a commonly held belief is a sure fire way to bait some links. People will write stories refuting or agreeing with your point of view & provide lots of valuable one-way links. Though avoid being controversial for the sake of it. If its not something you believe 100% it can come back to haunt you. Plus its a stunt you can only pull a few times before people expect it of you.

Another trick of the trade is the humorous post, whether its parody of something the industry takes very seriously or some old fashioned jokes about your sector, humour is one of the top ways to hook a link.

One of the most risky, though potentially most rewarding forms of link bait is the attack; criticising someone or something prominent is one of the easiest; though potentially damaging ways, to attract links. It can make you look unprofessional but similarly if you have a well reasoned and justified point it can earn you respect from your peers. Definitely only one for the brave.

Almost the exact opposite to the attack is the ego link bait. Everybody is a sucker for praise, writing a follow up to an article written by another professional complimenting their work can prove successful. Similarly so can a competition or award, nobody is too shy when it comes to showing the world how popular and successful they are. And with that comes plenty of links.

While these are some of the most common ways search engine marketing companies create link bait they shouldnt be limiting. By creating compelling content that warrants attention you can find yourself top of the link bait tree.

Amazing Article Marketing - 3 Noted Effective Methods to a Better Article Marketing

Writing articles to market your products and services is one great, cost-effective method. Although there are other equally cost-effective marketing instruments that one can use to promote an idea or a service, article marketing remains to be the top most trusted marketing medium in the internet today. This is the reason why a continued patronage is being extended to it by the majority of the business people. In addition, newer and bolder methods are being developed to further enhance the capacity of this marketing tool to persuade and goad other people. Below are some these methods:

1. Prepare the message that you wish to convey. This is commonly the article that you need to create. You need to make sure that the articles are very well made and crafted. The topics should foster interest and appeal to the targeted readers/clients. In addition, you also need to ensure that they are free from any form of incorrectness and flaws.

2. Choose the article directories where you will have your articles submitted. There are various sites that allow for a free publication of your articles. Since generally of these sites are welcoming the submission and publication for free, all you need to do is to make sure that the articles being submitted for publication pass the standards set forth by these publication sites. Make sure that they are of high quality and do not contain any substandard contents.

3. Monitor how each article submitted and published is playing on the site. Track how these articles are making an impact to your business. Be a proactive player. Make sure that plans are made to combat potential failure on each plan that you have. Although it is advised that you give your articles some time to be able to pick up, make sure that you do not wait too long to take an action when you feel that your copies are of not reaping good results.

Effective Article Marketing - How To Create Your Online Publishing Empire That Grows Day After Day!

Every article writer has the ability to create an ebook in less than one day. Many people think they can't write a book. This is totally wrong. In fact, I am going to show you how you, too, can create your own Internet publishing empire.

In fact, with this method, you can quickly and easily create a physical book that you can sell at Amazon.com, or a simple ebook that you sell on the web.

I advise you to write both. First, start with your ebook, and then expand and publish this book to get even more leads into your marketing funnel.

How do you do it?

Whenever you write an article, put in mind that this is an article from your ebook. Once you have seven articles on a topic of your choice, you need to create a free report.

I like to create these short reports because you can use them as viral marketing tools are just send them to your subscribers as gift. This will enhance the relation with your subscribers because when you give a gift to someone, something magical happens.

As an example, I recently wrote: "7 Deadly Affiliate Marketing Mistakes". If you are in the "speed reading" niche, you can write: "7 Deadly Speed Reading Mistakes". Nothing complicated.

Whenever I see a title like this, I am curious because I want to know if what I am doing is right. And many people will get your ebook, believe me.

"Passport To Wealth" Mentors What Every Entrepreneur Needs To Know About SEO Classes

If you an entrepreneur and are involved at all into network marketing then you have heard of search engine optimization. All over the Internet their are SEO classes teaching techniques to solving the puzzle of Google, Yahoo and MSN. As an entrepreneur, you understand the magnitude of having your website advertised on the first page of search engines. It can mean a flood of targeted customers coming to your site. Certainly that means more profit for you right. Absolutely, but only if you set up your campaign correctly at the beginning.

There are mentoring teams out there sharing SEO tactics and holding SEO classes. The first thing you should remember when joining one of these classes is commitment and consistency. Commit yourself at the beginning to sticking to the program. If someone tells you when setting up your search engine optimization campaign that it is easy and there is no work is crazy and not true. You have to commit yourself into this for the long haul because there will always be work and up keep to your campaign even after you have hit the first page. Do not live in the fantasy that this SEO will run itself and their is no work to you. According to Passport to Wealth back office over 65% of people taking SEO classes will not finish the class because of the work entailed. Now if you are paying someone to do the search engine optimization for you, then obviously this doesn't apply to you, the company or service you paid will do it for you. But if you are looking at mentors to teach you how to build your business then commit to the work and SEO classes, don't go in with false pretenses.

SEO is not something we can explain in one article. But it all starts with your website and design. Here is a list of ways to set up your website properly for optimal web site inclusion with search engines.

1.) Pick your keywords first - You should start with at list of at least 30 keywords to utilize. Go off the top of your head and think about your business your customers and what would they be searching to find your business. Always in the keywords you should include your business name. Once your keywords are established use a software tool like that is free and will assist you in finding how many people are searching for that keyword. If you don't have a high number of people searching that keyword then it is not going to do you much good. Get rid of that keyword and keep 5 - 6 keywords to start with that have good search results.

2.) Research your keywords - Once you pick out your keywords go to a search engine, like google, and type in your Keywords one at a time. Check out how many websites you have to beet to get on the top of the page. At the beginning try to go with a search that has less the 2 million. You want to make sure the competition is not to steep to accomplish moving up on the search engines.

3.) Website Creation - Your website, capture page, and front page should all be optimized with your keywords in mind. Your page should be keyword rich, meaning your keyword or keyword phrase should be placed in your website several times for the search engine spiders to crawl. So as you are adding your content make sure that you through your keywords in their several times.

4.) Title tag and Meta tags - There is some controversy from mentors on the importance of Meta Tag Keywords or Meta tag description. I think the mentors teaching SEO classes are all in agreement that the title tag is important. I still find these tactics useful and suggest you to place them in your website. They will certainly not hurt your efforts in SEO. When creating your title tag you want to make sure that you include your Main keyword at the beginning of the title. For an example, if your business is Passport To Wealth , I would suggest using Passport To Wealth as your main keyword and placing that at the beginning of the title tag. Title tags are what you see at the top of the browser page. Keep this short and to the point attempting to get your keywords in at least once in the title. Do not make this long and have it make sense. Meta tag keywords place all your keywords in this section. Make sure to include your main keyword first, and separate each keyword with commas. Meta tag descriptions, I still see a large benefit to meta tag descriptions. Keep the main keyword at the beginning and write a intriguing sentence regarding your business or service. The Meta tags are under your title on the search engines so you want to make sure that it will catch visitors attention and prompt them to open your site and see your opportunity.

5.) Pictures - If you are using pictures make sure to name them your keywords and then place them in the websites. Search engines will read these keywords as they are spidering through it and give you a better optimization.

6.) Bolding and underlining keywords - It is suggested to be beneficial to underline or bold your keywords. There is some controversy on this as some says it holds no relevance. I have experienced a higher page rank just from adding this a couple of times in my website. Not only does it stand out for your customers but also the search engines. Don't over do it, just a couple of times. The spiders are sensitive to this and if it is obvious they may spam your site. Just a couple of times is okay to get the desired effect.

7.) Properly used headers - Headers are important to search engine optimization. In SEO classes they teach the Headers stand out more then regular text with the spiders. If possible always have at least one Header at the top of the page with your keywords displayed. If you can include your main keyword first in the header it is said to bring higher points to your page.

8.) Show links to you other pages or sources - On the main page you should have links to other links, affiliate links, or subsequent pages. Hyper link them on you page either at the top or bottom. I don't suggest doing them within your body. I have seen where search engines don't like links going to irrelevant content with in your body. Try to keep the links at the top, left hand side, or bottom of your web page. Years ago they used to suggest creating squeeze pages, or gateway pages, which were websites keyword friendly. They didn't make sense they just had to have some content for the search engines benefit only. I don't suggest practicing this anymore, I would use real content when adding to your website.

9.) Browser detection - Be careful using this feature. Make sure that it does not break when the spiders or another agent may come through. The only way to get your website on the pages of the search engines is if the spiders can go through your website. Obviously if they can not get in, your website will not be spidered and displayed on the search engines.

10.) Get the right Domain Name: You url will hold some relevance in your search results. Spiders usually won't spider through a URL with special character in it. In addition having a shorter domain name is good for your customer base. When questioning the creation of your domain name consider putting your main keyword in the domain.

In conclusion, it is a known factor that search engine optimization is a highly recognized as a way to increase traffic to you website. Entrepreneur's, and Mentors have used these tactics for years. Testing and retesting what works as the search engines are forever changing how they spider our sites. The important thing to remember is that it does not stop with owning a website. Their are very specific steps that have to be accomplished in order to have the search engines recognize you. It is time consuming but the payoff and gratification when you accomplish the first page ranking is worth the hard work you may have invested in your SEO classes.
