Website Design, Off Page Optimization

The following is the important elements to off page web SEO and you should not just sit up and take notice but actively find the right link partners to create the best web structure. The off page factors include:-

Which Websites Link to you
The number of websites linking to you
The Google page rank of the websites linking to you
The page title of the website linking to you
The anchor text used in the link to you
The number and type of links linking to the website linking to you
The number of outbound links
The total number of links on the website that is linking to you
If the website is deemed and authority website

To understand how this is all done you need to analyze the top ten websites on the net for your keywords and this is not done easily. You need the right tools and to that unfortunately you need to spend money. One of the tools I use is SEO Elite but there are others and you should always not take any body's word that a package is good or bad in this game you need to find out for yourself.

I use it and I have found that it has a great deal of good information and training that comes with it, I can only suggest that you look at the training website and then decide on the investment or not.

When you have a package like that it enables you to do a number of interesting things with this tool. The first part is to analyze your competition on the web. Some people out there are very good sites and will not yield there number one spot without a severe amount of effort. You need to understand what degree of competition you are up against.

The main idea is that if you are trying to compete for a very competitive set of keywords you are going to have to put a lot of effort in and therefore you need to balance effort against reward. The competition for some keywords is a much closed area. If however you find that your competition has only around 2000 links in then you can probably consider that site and keywords within range of a good marketer with a good plan and strategy.

You can firstly understand that one of the best ways to outdo your competitor's sites in the top ten is to produce more unique content than them, this is the first thing to consider make or have more pages than them as this is a key factor. With some of the SEO packages on the market it can be possible to find out the keyword density for the main h1 and h2 tags this will give you the edge as you need to make your individual website content have just slightly more keyword density or prominence that your competitors.

Find the number of high ranking websites in that field and try to get them to give you a link write to them. Produce articles on that subject and submit them to high PR websites. Look at all the links that your competitors have and adjust the strategy to enhance your sites standing.

If you are new to this seek out the SEO Elite Training as this is free and gives you the best idea of what is needed to stay at number one for your keyword search terms. I wish you the best of luck with your website design and optimization.

How To Get Instant Traffic And Sales To Any Given Product

A lesson on maximizing your viral marketing.

Simplifying your viral marketing can mean instant traffic and sales to any given product.

Focus your viral marketing along with quality lead capture or squeeze pages and the results will never cease to amaze you.

"What is focused viral marketing and how do you simplify it?".

First off I would like to clarify, that viral marketing comes in many forms i.e. article writing, ebook publishing, etc., but for this lesson I am talking about viral marketing in the sense of free viral traffic generation sites such as Banner, Exit, Slide-In Ads, Tool Bar and Web Ring, type advertising exchanges.

Wherein you join and in return for placing the program's exchange code on your site to show other member's ads, you also get your ads shown on the sites of those members.

Focused viral marketing is the combination of several quality viral traffic programs all advertising the same URL for you. Then you divide these viral traffic programs between a series of 4 to 5 lead capture or squeeze pages which advertise a certain affiliate program or one of your products. Each page has a sign up form which is tied to a quality autoresponder system. In this autoresponder system you have a series of letters all with information on this product or service.

Every viral program you have featured throughout this series of pages is also set to advertise these pages. And as you advertise the pages, they in turn get you credits in all the exchanges and also gather leads for you from the autoresponder form you have on the pages.

To simplify your focused viral marketing, you use a central URL, in which you place this series of lead capture pages and where you have access to change the program this URL is advertising. i.e. via a quality tracking and rotator system. A tracking system is recommended. But use your rotator URL in it, so you can add the various pages that have the different viral traffic codes on them into the rotator. Then when you want to change programs you simply change the URL's in the rotator.

To maximize your traffic to this series of pages you put them into all the start page and traffic exchanges you belong to. Some of these sites will not take rotators, so simply put in as many of the pages as they will allow. Keeping note that when you do change your program pages in the rotator you will also want to change these various exchanges as well.

However, also keep in mind that the traffic exchanges that don't allow a rotator will serve to help you continue to grow traffic in the viral programs during times you just want to change the rotator to a single URL. You won't always have time to create a series of pages for every program or product. So you simply keep the same series going in one of your auto surf programs or other quality exchanges you gather frequent credits in and thus continue the focused viral traffic generation with ease.

Once you master the above you can start sending 100's or even 1000's of hits to any product or service you want instantly, by simply going to the one rotator system and changing the URLs it promotes.

I can give you a live case study on this - me - :). I recently created a free report, in which I was able to instantly change my on going focused viral marketing within a matter of seconds by logging in to my rotator and changing the URLs in it. Then once I did that all my current live ads started promoting this one report. Literally within a matter of minutes I was receiving sign ups to the autoresponder and people were downloading my free report. In less then a week I had 50 members in this autoresponder system and the numbers continue to climb as we speak.

Each time I do this I can focus 100-500 + hits a day to any given program or product and instantly generate sign ups and purchases of my products. If I want to bump that up even more. I just surf more in my traffic exchanges that day. It is that simple!

It never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to do this. So much so, that on this last round I even logged into all my banner exchanges, etc. I have been using and realized there was no need. I already had them promoting my tracking / rotator URL and I was set, didn't have to do another thing except watch the sign ups pour in.

Once you have the above set in motion you can instantly have traffic coming from all over the Internet, to any product or service you want. You can do this too! It just takes a little focus and determination.

Inbound Link Mania - 10 Key Content Strategies to Increase Online Visibility

Now more than ever, if you want to be a successful business owner, you need a successful business website. Which means you have to make nice with the search engines. And the long-standing rule of search engine friendliness is to create inbound links -- links from other sites pointing to your site.

Ten-ish years ago, when Google started the shift away from code to content (including inbound links) as the preferred way of determining "relevance," the world changed. Immediately, businesses owners started scrambling, and begging, for every link they could get. Thank goodness that's not the case anymore! But inbound links are still important. In many ways they're more vital than ever.

How then, does one go about getting those precious nuggets of hypertext anchor tagging? Social Media maven and "Chief Nut" Kevin Skarritt, our good friend and strategic ally at Acorn Creative, offered up these 10 strategies on his "Nuts and Bolts of Brand" blog. Good guy that he is, he gave us permission to share those key linking strategies with you here. Hit it!

1. BLOG COMMENTS

Go out of your way to read other people's blogs. Your Mother always told you that reading is good for you. She was right! But, when you do so, be sure to productively interact with those bloggers. It makes them feel good. It validates what they're writing about. It starts up a relationship between the two of you. AND, here's the best part, it gives you an inbound link to your site.

2. BLOG TRACKBACKS

Start your own blog and refer to all of those blogs you're reading in the form of a "trackback" in your posts. Don't know what this means? Check out the entry for "trackback" on Wikipedia, or go deeper with a Wordpress.org tutorial. However you learn more about this linking strategy, please do, because it's a smart, easy, and effective way to get your website lots of inbound links.

3. PAY PER CLICK ADVERTISING

Yes, PPC advertising is indeed an added marketing expense. However, it's a controllable, predictable means to build ROI, and a great way to build inbound links where you have control over the text used in the link tag.

4. PARTICIPATE ON INDUSTRY FORUMS

Similar to blog comments and trackbacks, participating on industry forums will get you hooked up with other like-minded professionals, keep you abreast of current trends, and you get to build your own inbound links in the signature line of your posts.

5. BUILD OTHER PAGES

Some new social networking sites on the web allow you to create content and post it in their domain as new pages. One great example of this is Seth Godin's Squidoo.com. By creating "lenses" that focus readers on a particular topic of interest, you get to engage readers and create more inbound links to your main site.

6. WIKIS

The concept of a wiki (like wikipedia.org) is that readers also become content contributors. Anyone who is registered can log in and change content. Understand that other readers of this information-rich content have zero tolerance for salesy/advertising tactics, so, be careful with this one. Be purely informative and helpful with your newly posted content. If the content survives peer scrutiny, you'll have a nice little inbound link that's potentially seen by millions.

7. SOCIAL NETWORKING

MySpace and FaceBook for sure, but there's an explosion of social networking web sites out there. Dive in and start participating. Doing so allows you to interact with other professionals and, you guessed it, builds up inbound links.

8. SOCIAL BOOKMARKING

Different than social networking, social bookmarking is similar to how you used to bookmark sites in your browser but, instead, you bookmark your favorite sites publicly, in sites like de.licio.us, ma.gnolia.com, spurl.com, rojo.com, Google bookmarks ... the list goes on and on. The goal is to have people discover these bookmarks, and then your site. An added benefit to social bookmarking (and blog posts) is you get to "tag" your content with words and phrases that are relevant to the content. These tags are used to identify the content in the search process.

9. ORGANIZED SURFING SITES

This is a variation of social bookmarking. There are sites that organize how people surf the web in an effort to make the process of finding the right content faster and more focused. StumbleUpon.com (available as a Firefox plugin) is one of my favorites but others like Technorati (blog content), Digg (blogs, articles and news stories) and newcomer Trailfire (another Firefox plugin) allow users to power-surf, finding your site via inbound links.

10. LINK BEGGING

Don't discount it just yet. Asking another site owner for a link sometimes still works. However, with all of the other options listed above, you'll quickly learn that this tactic is largely time-consuming and unproductive.

Any good car salesman will recite the old adage, "plan your work and work your plan." This especially holds true for your inbound link strategy. Whether you focus on one or set up a tactic to diversify, divide and conquer, don't wait. The success of your website -- and ultimately, your business -- depends on it!

Using Viral Marketing to Grow Your Internet Business

Albert Einstein once called compound interest the "8th wonder of the world". He was also quoted as saying that "the most powerful force in the universe is compound interest". Obviously, Einstein had a great deal of respect for the power of compounding. Internet Marketing has its own power similar to that of compounding that is commonly referred to as Viral Marketing. Both use the power of time and leverage to create fantastic returns on capital. There are numerous ways to make use of Viral Marketing, and this article looks at how it can greatly benefit you in your marketing efforts.

When I first started marketing on the Internet, I made wide use of Hit or Traffic Exchanges. These type of sites are basically the I'll scratch your back, and you scratch mine sort of sites. While they had limited effectiveness for me as far as making sales, what they were very good at was allowing me to sign up others into various traffic building and downline clubs. This in turn produced lots of residual traffic which grew exponentially from the efforts of others. Although I seldom use Traffic Exchanges any longer, I still receive a fair amount of traffic from those efforts years ago.

While you could probably still use these types of programs to build your traffic and business, a more effective way to use Viral Marketing is the distribution of free information in the form of reports and ebooks that you create. People love information; especially if it has to do with 'making money' . Your task is simply to provide quality information that is in demand, and allow people to download it for free. And you won't have to look hard for this information because there are literally endless sources of good information to be found on the Internet. For instance, if you do a google search for 'Free Ebooks', you'll get hundreds of thousands of links. While most will be in categories that aren't appropriate for what you're looking for, it will give you an idea of the type of information that's out there.

Once you have gathered the necessary information for your ebook, you then need to create your ebook or report. This is where many people stop reading, believing that it's too difficult a process to create your own ebooks. The truth is, with the publishing software available today, creating your own ebooks is mostly a matter of filling in the blanks. There are numerous sites that can make creating your own ebook a snap, a couple being....Ebookcreator.com and Ebookcompiler.com There are even a few good affiliate sites that will do all of this for you.

There are several reasons why it's much more profitable to create your own ebooks, one of them being that you can embed your own links into the report allowing you to advertise numerous sites and offers. The key ingredient that really kicks this process into overload is that you allow your subscribers to also distribute your FREE ebook to others. If done properly, you'll eventually have thousands of people distributing your ebook with your very own links in it. Are you starting to see the power in using this form of Viral Marketing?

Viral Marketing is a powerful concept that you should definitely make a part of your marketing efforts. With the ability of the Internet to quickly spread information to all parts of the world, why not spread a little of your own?

Article Marketing Traffic Power - 3 Steps to Burst Your Website Bandwidth

Articles are in high demand these days. The simple reason is that they have power to burst your website bandwidth with high quality website traffic. If you want to tap into this high traffic pulling power of articles make sure you apply 3 simple steps laid down below with every article you write from now on.

Here's a 3 block formula that will pump up your website traffic right off the charts through article marketing...

Step 1 - Optimize Your Articles.

Step 2 - Attention Grabbing Titles.

Step 3 - High Quality Articles.

The purpose of this article is to make sure that you get high traffic from your article marketing campaign. Here are high traffic pulling article marketing steps in detail...

Step 1 - Optimize Your Articles.

You must learn how to optimize your articles. You must load your articles with keywords in your niche so that search engines know the niche your articles are targeting.

Study your niche and research keywords that they are using to find information relating to your products and services. Then optimize your articles with those keywords so that they rank well in the search engines.

Step 2 - Attention Grabbing Titles.

Title is one of the most important part of your article.

If your title fails to grab attention of your target market, no one will read your article. If they fail to read your article know one will reach your resource box and thus zero traffic to your website.

Therefore focus on writing catchy headlines. I would suggest you to get headline templates on the internet. There are many copywriting ebooks that will give you fill in the blank headline templates that are really catchy.

Then make sure you include your article benefits and solution to problems of your target niche and use the templates to write catchy headlines.

Step 3 - High Quality Articles.

The only reason people are reading articles it that they are in need of quality information. If your article sucks and provides crap information, you will spoil your reputation and get zero traffic to your website.

Therefore it is very important to give your target market what they want, that is quality informative content in your niche. If you provide quality content this will boost up your name and reputation in your niche.

Write a Great Article In Just 4 Steps

Article marketing is a proven method of increasing traffic to your web site, and even people who claim they can't write a sentence can take advantage of it. Follow a few simple steps that will teach you to write articles -- articles that can mean more subscribers for your list and more sales of your product or service.

1. Choose a title that really grabs attention.

You're never going to get someone to read your article unless the headline grabs them and pulls them in. You're going to be competing against hundreds or thousands of other articles and in many cases, people will be scanning down a long list of titles to decide which article to read. Make yours stand out.

Here are some sample headlines you can use for your article titles:

  • How to _________ In _________ Steps.
  • How to _________ In _________ (Time Frame).
  • The Real Secret to Quickly ______________.
  • Top 2 Ways to ________________.
  • 3 Little Known Tips for _____________.
  • The Hidden Costs of ________________.

You may recognize those templates -- they're the foundation for many classic headlines that have made millions of dollars over the years. There's also software available that will crank out dozens of great article titles and all you have to do is fill in a few blanks.

2. Come up with 3-5 points of interest.

You can't throw everything and the kitchen sink into your article, and while one point can sometimes be expounded on for 500 - 700 words (the article length you should be shooting for) it's often best to go for 3 - 5 main points in your article.

If you write about 100 words for each point, add another hundred each for your opening and closing summary, you're right on the money for the required length. And, you won't overwhelm the reader with too much information.

3. Catch their interest with a great opening sentence.

You use the title to capture their attention, and then your opening line is what's used to lead them into the body of the article. Here are a few things you can do to lure in the reader...

  • Ask a question.
  • Make a startling statement.
  • Use an emotion hook.
  • Lay out a problem.

Let me quickly give you a quick swipe file of some opening sentences that I've created - which you can modify as you see fit for your own articles - that are proven to get readers further into your content:

4. Close with a non-subtle call to action.

Your title gets their attention, your opening sentence leads them into the body, and your body should make them interested in your product or service. And that should lead them directly to the desired action.

After all, you're not writing an article just to give your fingers a work-out, you want the reader to do something other than just flip to the next article or web site.

After your article is your resource box where you'll make the actual call to action. What you need to do with the last part of your article is to make a transition between the two -- lead the reader right from the end of the article into the call to action.

One way to do that is to summarize the points you made in your article and then your resource box references something related to those points. That will draw the reader into the offer you're making and encourage them to click your link.

Now you've written your article and given the reader some good information, and you've create a call to action they've taken. They arrive at your web site to see... what?

Bonus Point:

No matter what product or service you're selling, your top priority should be to get prospects onto your list. A large responsive list can mean the difference between a hobby and a business. Which means when people click through from your article, you should have an opt-in form front-and-center.

Come up with a free report, mini-course, etc., and offer that in your article's resource box. Place that offer at the top of your page and after someone joins your list, redirect them to a sales page showing the product or service you're promoting.

How Many Articles Should I Submit Every Month To Make Sales?

Do you want to make more money with article marketing? Let me show you some of the common mistakes made by newbies just starting with this form of advertising, then I will show your the exact steps to quickly becoming more profitable.

Deadly Article Marketing Mistakes

1. Submitting one article per week.

Actually, it's not really a sin, but you will not make a lot of profits except if nobody else write and submit articles in your niche.

One article will not make you a lot of profits.

2. Submitting to only one directory

If you only submit to a single directory, you will not get the exposure you deserve. Profit from leverage in every single thing you do.

3. Mass submission

I see that many newbies try to submit with articlemarketer or articlepostrobots.com. There is no need to do this.

Will this hurt your article marketing plan because of the threat of duplicate content?

No, I've submitted with those services as well and my articles still bring me traffic. Duplicate content is another issue that I will discuss with you later because it needs a more in depth analyze.

What are the exact steps for success?

You need to do the following:

* Write several articles a day. I suggest a minimum of two per day to start. If you can't or don't have the time, this tedious work can be outsourced.

* Submit to the top twenty directories. For obvious reasons, you need to outsource this part as well.

If you are on a budget, you need to do this yourself. I know it's not easy but it's how I started.

Article Marketing - Should Be Reader Friendly

Article marketing is an excellent method of increasing traffic to your site. There are a lot of writers out there who are talented and can write articles for your site. With a large pool of potential employees who usually work free-lance, this is a marketing campaign that a site can undertake with little financial risk. You hire a person to develop creative content that will draw online surfers to your site. This small investment is an opportunity to increase site traffic as well as your search engine rating.

Article marketing, is placing your articles in online article directories for everyone to read. These articles usually will have a link to your own website at the bottom, with a photo and a short biodata about you. If someone reads your article and clicks on the backlink, your website gets traffic. Your article has to be impressive enough to induce the visitor to click on the backlink.

You can be successful if you remember a few things. You have to compose copy that reflects your readers' concerns. Perhaps you can inform your audience about a previously unpublicized service or give them pointers on how to do something for themselves. You want to create one-of-a-kind articles to get their attention, and unique content is what accomplishes that.

Use words that are easy for your readers to comprehend. Avoid flowery phrases that may tax the ordinary person's vocabulary. Avoid complicated concepts as well. Define any words you think will stump your audience. You can render copy more readable if you use boldfaced headings and bullets in front of the items on your lists. You want to offer your audience useful information and communicate to them that you have expertise pertinent to the topic.

As soon as your copy is prepared for publication, put it on a popular article directory. This is a kind of site that solicits columns from authors of all nations throughout the globe. It provides room for your contact information and for a backlink. It is crucial to post your copy on more than one directory at a time in order to raise your internet profile and generate more visitors to your site.

Article marketing can periodically fail to generate the funds it promises. A poorly written article will not attract viewers. The writer must possess rudimentary literary skills. The abrupt disappearance of the writer from the internet may also contribute to lack of income. Article writers must consistently provide new articles with fresh ideas. For a productive and gifted writer, article marketing is a great way to make a living.

In today's technologically driven world there are many ways to earn money through Internet and article writing is one of them. Many article writers are happy writing content for websites. If you engage yourself in article marketing, then your article will pay you as long as it is present on the site. Write something your reader is interested in. Your subject matter can be about a little-known but useful service or a self-help guide, a how-to article or handy hints about something. If your unique articles contain stimulating information, their unique content is sure to arouse your reader's interest. Write in a reader-friendly language and style.

Article Submission - Methods to Get Good Backlinks

There are a few marketing tricks you can use to begin building traffic to your website. If you are an affiliate marketer, or network marketer, this method will bring you target traffic by using article submission.

The first thing to remember is that you should be the person writing your articles if you want this trick to work for free. You do not have to be a great writer at all. If this seems too daunting, then there are writers on the Internet that will take over this task for you.

Article submission to drive traffic to your site needs to have the subject matter of your articles be something about the product, or company you are trying to market on your site. It does no good to have your article be about pencils, if you are trying to market pens.

Break up your articles into small 500 word articles using SEO methods. Optimizing your articles for article submission to content sites is to get your articles listed naturally as part of that content site.

Google loves article sites. Their spiders index these article content sites on a regular basis. When your article submission is accepted, this then becomes a part of that site and gets indexed along with everything else for article submission into the search engine.

Use target keywords in your articles. If the product you're writing about is foreign auto parts with regards to hubcaps, then your keyword might be "foreign car hubcaps". You would want to use this keyword at least 6-8 times throughout your article.

This helps to make your article relevant to Google, when it is indexed. This also will go far to give your article a high ranking when someone is looking for foreign car hubcaps for their car. SEO article submission like this will target your market so your traffic is right on what you are marketing.

The key to people reading your articles then getting to your marketing page is simple. All of the article content sites will allow you to leave a link at the bottom of your article. This link would be the URL to your page so you receive the traffic generated from your article submission.

It helps to leave a closing comment to your readers, so if they are looking for a wide selection of foreign car hubcaps, they can follow your link to check out this resource. This is the key to making this trick work to receive targeted traffic.

Article submission to article content sites is not a new marketing trick, but it is an effective one. Done correctly, your article submission has the power to rank first page on Google and stay there for months, generating a steady income resource to you over and over again.

Another key to article submission is to engage your readers so they don't just leave without finishing the article. It has been shown that people reading online have a shorter attention span than when reading a magazine article. If your article entices the readers to want more information about the subject, then they are more than likely going to follow the link you left for them at the bottom of it.

Article Marketing Secrets - Which of These 3 Resource Box Mistakes Are You Making?

Successful article marketing requires you to create a resource box that brings the reader back to your web site or blog.

The problem is many people make some common mistakes. So here is what not to do in your resource box and what a resource box is not.

A resource box is not

It is not a virtual ego wall - Many people treat it this way. They want to tell all about themselves and all about all their accomplishments. An ego wall is that thing in somebody's office where they have all their diplomas and their pictures of famous people.

A virtual ego wall is an ego wall online. People turn the resource box into a virtual ego wall, which leads then to our next point.

It is not all about you - When I teach resource box crafting, it has to pass the 'who cares' test. It's not all about you. It's about the reader and what other benefit they can get.

It is not something that you rush through - What a lot of people do is they go over to the article directories and they put in their keywords and they put in their title and their description and then they put in their article body, and they're down to the resource box and they're tired and they want out of there. So they just throw something together to get it done.

This is not something to rush through. If you do everything else in your article well - it's titled well, described well, written well, people are knowing you, liking you, trusting you, wanting more from you - and you blow the resource box, you've wasted your entire time because the resource box is how you get them back to your website.

So get this wrong, you've wasted your time. Get this right and you've got it made!

Article Marketing - Maximize Your Exposure

If your website has several pages, each dealing with a different theme, it is advantageous to write an article on each different theme, and provide a link to each page on your site. Once you have covered each page with an article, go back and start again with different articles. You can easily get some of your pages on the first page on Google by doing this.

Article submission is generally free, though software that is available to speed up the process can be expensive. There is free software available, but the range of directories the free submission services submit to is very small, and does not generally cover the best. The same is true of web site directory submissions. Submitting your web site to web directories can promote traffic to your web site, and give you one-way back-links, but the better directories charge a significant sum for this service and the free services are either to relatively little used directories or can take several months or more to complete the submission.

There are one or two more ways how to get more traffic to your web site, but the above are the most popular and the most effective. Using a signature with your site URL on all emails and all forum postings helps to advertise your site, and with a bit of though you can probably think of a few more. Use your brain and put everything you learn about, or think of yourself, into practice and you might be surprised at much more traffic to your website that you generate.

Marketing Strategies - How to Test Your Advertising!

Once upon a time, only major corporations and Fortune 500 companies took the time to test their advertising. But as small business owners become more savvy-and the cost of advertising continues to rise-testing the effectiveness of ads, whether in print or on the web, is one of those marketing strategies that just makes sense.

First of all, you'll want to determine exactly where you want to spend your hard-earned cash. Think about your target market-i.e., the people with the highest likelihood of being interested in the products or services you're offering. What publications are they reading? What websites are they visiting? Depending on how targeted your market is, trade publications may be an inexpensive option in terms of print advertising, while numerous high-traffic websites are oriented around a specific profession and/or interest that may place its visitors within your target market.

Next, you'll need to design your ads. Whether you work with a graphic designer or have the skills and know-how to do it yourself, creating a range of possible designs is key-because once you have them, you can use them to solicit high-quality input from your friends, colleagues, and employees.

Once you have 5-7 designs in hand, you'll want to get them in front of as many people as possible. Have individuals pick out their top three designs, then hand them a red marker-to mark the things they don't like, on each of those three ads-and a green marker-to mark the things they do.

Once you've used this info to select the 2 or 3 most popular designs (and strengthen them, by addressing the negatives) it's time to submit your ads to the websites/publications you've chosen.

Here's the key, though: always advertise in more than one (roughly equivalent) publication or website, and make sure to include a different contact .url and/or phone number on each ad. (This could simply be a different page off your main website-or, in the case of a phone contact, a number that routes to your main number with a different ring, a service that can be provided by your local phone company.)

That way, you'll actually be able to track the number of impressions you've created with each ad, and the number of actual sales each ad has generated.

Once you've let these ads run for a while-three months is generally considered a minimum amount of time for an effective run-you can compile the results you've received from each ad. If one ad has generated at least 5% more impressions/sales than either of the other two, you've got a clear indication that it's more effective in terms of design and appeal.

You may want to continue advertising in one of the publications/websites that produced lesser results for you-but switch your ad design to the one that produced a higher return, in order to make sure you're getting the most out of your advertising budget.

Testing your advertising is a great way to get a handle on which marketing strategies have the most pull within your target market.

So go ahead-create some great, dynamite advertising, and watch those sales roll in.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Latest 6 Popular Methods to Multiply Your Article Marketing

Using article marketing as your product and website promotion tool has a lot of benefits. It can help you establish yourself as a great writer and expert your chosen niche, increase your page views, improve your search engine position, and augment your sales potentials.

Here are the 6 popular methods to multiply your article marketing:

1. Write about topics that are closely related to your business type. This is not only to drive quality traffic to your website but also to impart valuable information to your potential readers.

2. Provide good content to your readers. People read articles because they would like to be informed. Thus, you have to make sure that your articles contain valuable information that your readers will find useful and relevant to their lives. Offer solutions to their existing problems, answers to their burning questions, or information that can empower them to do certain things on their own.

3. Don't turn your articles to sales letters. By this, I mean avoid blatant advertisements on your content as these can easily annoy both readers and publishers. Save your sales pitches on your resource box where you can freely promote your products and your business.

4. Take advantage of various article submission sites. To easily create numerous inbound links for your website, submit your articles to all highly visited publishing sites online.

5. Use keywords. It is important to make your articles search engine-friendly so they can easily be found online. Use a reliable keyword suggestion tool that can help you figure out the most popular keywords that are being used by your potential clients. Use these keywords all throughout your content to make your articles keyword-rich.

6. Create a compelling resource box. To effectively convince your readers to check on your website, you have to pay close attention to your resource box and make it enticing. You can either offer incentives or give your readers a sneak peak of what kind of information your website has.

Motivational Marketing and Customer Loyalty Strategies for Business

Marketing has changed dramatically during the past decade with the advent of the Internet and Search Engines such as Google and Yahoo. In simpler times, the approach of creating aggressive strategies to propel sales, was very Pavlovian Stimulus Response, you placed the ad, generated the demand and the sales happened, not much focus was given to the customer. The new style focuses on developing a service-oriented business and marketing plan dedicated to solving customers' problems. Too often businesses only focus on providing customer service, but customer loyalty is the one we want to engender with our clients, the difference between the two is: Customer Service Is An Attitude, Customer Loyalty Is a Behavior. And customers vote with their wallets!

When we define customer-centric marketing, it requires providing Customers with real solutions and a good deal of research and insight into the motivational marketing and customer issues that they are facing. Many businesses too often adopt a quick-fix marketing and customer service response convenient for them and call it customer-centric. For example, 24-hour service lines are easily set up and seem customer-focused, research indicates that what a firm's customers actually need is a toll-free number, one that is not outsourced to substandard, underpaid, unmotivated representatives, but highly responsive, well-trained professional technicians who can solve the customers problems. In short, paying mere lip service to customersupport is not enough. Organizations must look beyond their internal challenges to focus the true needs of the customer.

The other challenge in customer-centric marketing and customer service is that it must also be competition-centered. The reason, say Al Ries and Jack Trout in Bottom-Up Marketing, is that the only way to pry customers loose away from your competitors is to offer better solutions than they do - and explore new market niches and newopportunities your competitors haven't thought of. This means being constantly aware of what the competition is doing.

The Riches in Niches Try Niche Marketing

Most successful companies have stopped broadcast marketing, taking out a full page ad in a national newspaper to advertise their product and hoping the product flies off the shelf. Instead they reach out to narrowly-focused groups, using a strategy called niche marketing. Niche marketing gained wide popularity through Donald K. Clifford, Jr. and Richard E. Cavanaugh's The Winning Performance, which studied 6,117 small companies that had grown four timesfaster than the Fortune 250. Ninety percent of these firms, the Authors found, competed in small market niches. All were customer- rather than sales-driven. All developed new products with the end-user in mind. And all concentrated on advertising to - and generating repeat sales from - not just any customer, but a small, credit-worthy, qualified group.

Clifford and Cavanaugh present a series of steps companies can take to adopt niche marketing for themselves: Compile a comprehensive list of your prospects and customers. Narrow the list to a profitable group you believe you can serve better than the competition. Create a profile of the traits common to these customers, such as sales volume or location. Use this profile to tailor products, services and advertising to your niche market and qualify new prospects. Be prepared to experiment with several niches before finding the one that fits your company best.If you follow these tried and true suggestions to improve motivational marketing and customer service you will see a dramatic improvement in your companys bottom line and in the satisfaction levels of your customers. Cutting Edge Article Marketing Secrets That Will Create A Frenzy Of Buyers

There are many different ways to drive traffic to your website. The main traffic methods I would say are ppc, ezine advertising and article marketing. The only problem with the other methods of advertising is that once you stop paying your traffic will come to an end.

Now the big advantage with article marketing is that it will bring you traffic this month, the following month in fact the traffic does not stop. Once you have articles out there working consistently to build your business you can't stop the traffic to your website even if you wanted to.

Today with a recession looming people are extremely careful about the money that they spend. Consequently they will do a lot more research before they buy a product. The advantage is that when someone joins your newsletter they may not be ready to buy immediately. If they are not sure about what your product will do for them they are likely to read many of your other articles. If they find these informative enough they are very likely to purchase your product.

As the famous sales trainer Jeoffrey Gitomer once said people only buy from other people that they like know and trust. Having hundreds or thousands of articles out there will substantially build your credibility online and you will be seen as the expert in that area.

I think that this is one of the major difficulties for a newbie to get started online. If you were selling a $97 ebook how many people would actually trust you enough to buy it from you. Many of the expert marketers have lots of credibility and that is why people buy from them. Using article marketing you can level the playing field.

Are you really interested in driving massive traffic to your website?

Article Marketing - Key Words? What Are They and How Do They Relate to Article Marketing? Part III

In the last two articles you learned what key words are, what they are used for both from the perspective of a user or consumer (using key words to sort through data) and from the business owners perspective, (a way to identify groups of people with an interest in a specific topic).

In the last article I used the key words, *computer repair* as an example and said that this set of key words had been searched for 25,000 times in a month. Then we talked about how as a computer business owner, it is useful to know that information if you are looking for new customers.

Then, at the end of the article, I suggested that if you were a computer business owner you might ask how you would get your name in front of these potential customers. After that I asked a question that is an important part of understanding the potential of any business opportunity, and that is, how many other people are there trying to get their name in front of these potential customers?

You see, to fully understand the potential of an opportunity, not only do you have to know how many people might be interested in a particular product or service, but you have to know how much competition there is trying to supply that group with what they are looking for. In academia, they call this the law of supply and demand.

Let's look at the potential from two different perspectives to help you learn how you can determine the potential of an opportunity for yourself. But first you have to know about another number that is tracked on the internet. That is how many websites there are that provide information for a key word or key word set.

For example, if I did a search right now, try this for yourself if you like, on Google for the key words, *computer repair*, I see that Google says there are 9 million 620 thousand results for that search. Suddenly the 25,000 searches for the key words *computer repair* doesn't seem to be that large of a number. What does that tell us? It tells us that there is a lot of competition for people looking for information about computer problems.

Do you think it is going to be easy to make a lot of money fixing computers? In this example, it doesn't look like it. Not only are you going to have to spend a lot of money to stand out on the Internet to get your company noticed, but you will have to provide great service at a very competitive price to get your share and keep any of that business.

Just to contrast it, what if there were only 5,000 results total? Now, you have found an opportunity. Now back to the previous question, and that is how you are going to get the name of your company in front of these 25,000 potential customers. This is where the fun begins, because this is where article marketing ties all of these pieces together. Again, assuming from the research you did, you found this to be an opportunity you wanted to pursue.

What if Dan Iverson could show you how to write about any topic on earth and make money? List Building & Forums Work Together

To start off what is a forum? A forum is an online discussion board where members help each other, asking and answering questions and sharing information.

Using forums to build quality list is becoming more popular. At one time, not long ago this was one of the most overlooked aspects of list building.

Lots of times people who don't know any better jump into forum discussions pushing a product or their website. This is a No-No.

The key to using the forums is to establish yourself as an expert in your field. Don't go in trying to sell something or promote your website. These people don't know you there for not trusting you.

Use forums to build and establish trust. Get to know these people, become friends, and help them with as many problems you can, building trust along the way.

Now that we know what a forum is and how to use it we will move on.

To find forums do a search on your favorite search engine entering your keyword or topic followed by forum. This will bring up many forums to choose from.

It's time to get into a little grunt work now. We need to become members to 25-50 of these forums.

Now we need to go to the profile section and create a signature. This is very important, our signature is going to have our name and a link to our website,(preferably a squeeze page) and that's it. Nothing more.

Next we need to introduce ourselves in the introductory section of the forum. Here's where we say hi and tell a little about what we do offline.

Mention a hobby you may have, or something about your job. Be friendly and get to know these folks. Don't try to sell or promote at this point.

The next day you are going to return and reply to the welcomes you received from your introduction posts. Be polite and reply with a thank-you, that goes a long ways believe it.

Ok, now it is time to start looking through the posts for unanswered questions that you are able to answer. If you know the answer, give it to them.

Don't answer a reply like;

If you buy my e-book you will find all your answers. You don't want to do this. Your main objective here is to become an expert, and don't try sell at this time.

You'll want to continue answering questions on a daily basis. Spend as much time as you can answering these questions. The more quality posts you present, the more there will be an exponential effect that will build.

You are now being seen by many as an expert. And answering them questions makes you just that, an expert. You still want to refrain from putting on a sales pitch. Remember your link is in your signature, if they want to know more they will click your link.

You must be seen as an expert. If not you will never get the click, they won't subscribe, and they won't buy anything.

If you can continue to give these people quality content and information on a daily basis, builds trust and respect.

Give your readers something that they can walk away with everyday and feel good about it.

Once seen as an expert the more comfortable your readers feel with you. The more posts they read of yours the more apt they are clicking your link. They are very curious at this point.

Remember, don't be aggressive in forums. Don't mention your website or products. The more posts you make the more clicks you will get.
